Does curl have a cache?

When we use the cURL command, we must note that cURL is only an HTTP client, and it doesn't cache any request on the client-side. Therefore, any caching while using this command happens on the server-side. To bypass the server-side cache, we can try some tweaks on the HTTP request we're sending.

Does curl cache certificates?

Building a certificate store from a CURLOPT_CAINFO file is a slow operation so curl may cache the generated certificate store internally to speed up future connections. Set to zero to completely disable caching, or set to -1 to retain the cached store remain forever. By default, libcurl caches this info for 24 hours.
