What is cloud cache feature in FSLogix?

Cloud Cache is a technology that provides incremental functionality to Profile Container and Office Container. Cloud Cache uses a Local Profile to service all reads from a redirected Profile or Office Container, after the first read.

Where are FSLogix profiles stored?

Location Of FSLogix Profile Logs

By default, every User Session Server stores FSLogix logs at C:\ProgramData\FSLogix\Logs.

Does FSLogix use VHD or VHDx?

FSLogix Containers redirect user profiles to a network location. Profiles are placed in VHDx files and mounted at run time.

What is stored in FSLogix profile?

FSLogix is designed to roam profiles in remote computing environments, such as Azure Virtual Desktop. It stores a complete user profile in a single container.

What is the use of cache in Cloud data store?

When a Cloud Storage object is cached, copies of the object are stored in a Google or internet cache so your object can be served faster in future requests.

How do I clean my FSLogix profile?

Open File Explorer on all affected session machines and check C:\Users folder. There should be no leftovers from the FsLogix profile folder nor from the local_username folder. If such leftovers exist, then you should first run the DelProf2.exe or similar profile cleanup tool to remove them.

Where are CAD profiles stored?

The AutoCAD profile is saved into the Registry under the HKEY_CURRENT_USER branch/hive. So in a sense an AutoCAD Profile and the Registry are one, and they are the same. Some settings are saved in the Windows Registry and can be exported and imported on another system, other settings are saved in the Current Drawing.

Where are AVD profiles stored?

Nerdio Note: FSLogix Profile Container is enabled by default on the Nerdio configured AVD Windows 10 multi-session template VM. The profile location is set to \\FS01\Profiles\%Username%.

Is VHDX better than VHD?

VHDX has a much larger storage capacity than the older VHD format. It also provides data corruption protection during power failures and optimizes structural alignments of dynamic and differencing disks to prevent performance degradation on new, large-sector physical disks.

Which is better VHD or VMDK?

VMDK allows incremental backups of changes to data from the time of the last backup, unlike VDI and VHD. This makes the backup process for VMDK files much faster compared to VDI and VHD. Unofficial tests also show that VMDK is significantly faster than VDI or VHD.

What is the disk size limit for FSLogix?

By default, FSLogix sets the maximum profile disk size at 30GB.

Where are FSLogix rules stored?

By default, Rules and Rule Sets are accessed from C:\Program Files\FSLogix\Apps\Rules. The location where Rules and Rule Sets are accessed differ if the FSLogix installation location is changed. To deploy a rule set, use any method to copy rule files (.

What is the difference between office container and profile container in FSLogix?

Office Container is generally implemented with another profile solution, and is designed to improve the performance of Microsoft Office in non-persistent environments. As opposed to Profile Container, Office Container redirects only the local user files for Microsoft Office.

Where are profiles stored in registry?

The registry contains a key called ProfileList located in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion. This registry key contains one subkey for each user profile on a Windows machine.

What is Druva Cloud cache?

CloudCache is an optional component that stores backups locally up to 30 days to enable quick local restores. The CloudCache then periodically synchronizes this data to the Druva Cloud.

What is the purpose of cache in Oracle?

Oracle Database Cache improves the scalability and performance of applications that access Oracle databases by caching frequently used data on a middle-tier system. With Oracle Database Cache, your applications can process several times as many requests as their original capacity.

What is caching in lightning?

The caching setting improves page reload performance by avoiding extra round trips to the server. Disabling secure and persistent browser caching has a significant negative performance impact on Lightning Experience. Always enable the setting in production orgs.

What is L1 and L2 caching?

The first-level (L1) cache is small enough to provide a one- or two-cycle access time. The second-level (L2) cache is also built from SRAM but is larger, and therefore slower, than the L1 cache. The processor first looks for the data in the L1 cache. If the L1 cache misses, the processor looks in the L2 cache.

Which cache mapping is fastest?

Level 2 or Cache memory – It is the fastest memory which has faster access time where data is temporarily stored for faster access.

How long does a druva restore take?

Based on our experience the transformation process can take four hours or more per virtual machine.

Where does Druva Phoenix store metadata?

The metadata is saved to the Druva Cloud storage. Therefore, you only need to create the Data folder at the time of configuration.

What is Stass in cloud computing?

Storage as a Service or STaaS is cloud storage that you rent from a Cloud Service Provider (CSP) and that provides basic ways to access that storage.
