How do I fix my Tor clock?
Choose Fix Clock in the error screen of the Tor Connection assistant to set the clock and time zone of your computer. If you have problems fixing the clock, you can instead try to restart Tails and choose to connect to Tor automatically.
What time zone does Tor use?
Tor Browser uses UTC for it's time. This hides the "system time" from any querying websites and stops any website that could read the time from determining your location based on your timezone.
How do I find my Browser time zone?
Open DevTools in Chrome -> Open the Console drawer. Click on the three-dotted menu -> Click on More tools -> Sensors. From the Sensors tab, set the location according to your preference and define the specific timezone.
