Violence is comparable to a PG-13 level. In one episode involves Eliot finding his girlfriend in a car trunk with a slit throat. This is the most graphic the violence gets but that's about it. Overall I Think that if you have a mature 13 year old and you watch it with them they should be fine to watch this show.
