How do I add an intermediate certificate to my CRT?

To combine them, simply copy the contents inside of the root certificate and paste it into a new line at the bottom of the intermediate certificate file. Once this is done, click File -> Save As and save this new bundle file and ensure to add '. crt' without the quotes at the end of the new filename.

Do I need to install intermediate certificate?

If customers do not install the appropriate Intermediate Certificate then browsers, applications, and hardware will not be able to recognize GlobalSign SSL Certificates as being trusted. The Intermediate Certificates do not need to be installed by visitors to your web site.
