How do you make a life team relay?
Registration is easy. To get started, find your local Relay event by visiting RelayForLife.org and entering your ZIP code. Start your own team or join an existing team online to register (paper registration options are also available).
What happens at a Relay For Life event?
WHAT HAPPENS AT A RELAY FOR LIFE EVENT? Teams and individuals fundraise and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Music, games, food, fun and fundraising. Participants will take part in fundraising the months leading up to the event.
Why do people Relay For Life?
It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. It all started in 1985 in Tacoma, Washington.
How does Relay For Life work?
Relay For Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking or running around a track or path at a local high school, park, or fairground. Events are up to 24 hours long, and because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have at least one participant on the track at all times.
