Working in VR. In our time working in VR using the Meta Quest 2 (formerly Oculus Quest 2), we wanted to experience as much as possible within the headset – including the apps we use every day. The Quest 2 offers connectivity with a PC (wired or wireless), and this meant it was able to replicate our PC desktop.
Can you do office work in VR?
Boost your productivity with up to three larger-than-life screens in your virtual office. Mirror physical monitors or add virtual screens (macOS only for now), meaning your headset is the only monitor you need. Integrated passthrough means you can see your physical environment in VR.
What do you need to work an Oculus Quest 2?
Initial Setup
Unbox: After you've taken your Quest 2 and its accessories out of the box, you'll first need to charge the headset. Plug the charging cord into a power source and into the USB-C port on the left side of the headset. The charging indicator will change from orange to green when the battery's fully charged.
How do you get real life with Oculus Quest 2?
Use Passthrough to watch your surroundings
The Quest 2 has a handy Passthrough feature that lets you see the real world via the headset's cameras whenever you step out of the virtual play area you've set up. But you can also check your surroundings at any time with a quick double tap on either side of your headset.
